Job Opportunity: IT Support for Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) – Student Worker Position

We are looking for a motivated student to support us in digitizing, maintaining, and optimizing our data collection and visualization tools, ensuring that we can effectively measure the impact of our work in the field. Position Details:

• Job Type: Paid student worker (10 hours/week)
• Duration: Until the end of the year, with the option for extension
• Work Style: Remote with the possibility of working in our Berlin office
• Location: Berlin, Germany

Tasks

Your Role: As part of our M&E team, you'll help digitize, maintain, and improve our tools used for tracking the impact of our humanitarian aid activities. Your main tasks will include:

• Programming & Maintaining: Set up and maintain Kobotoolbox questionnaires for data collection, Google Sheets for data storage, and Google Looker Studio for data visualization.
• Updating & Aligning Materials: Keep our monitoring and evaluation materials up to date, including questionnaires and print materials in Google Docs.
• Support: Support the M&E team for any questions related to the tools and materials.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

• Enrolled in IT studies, Computer Science, or a related field
• Proficient with Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, etc.)
• Willingness to learn or already familiar with Kobotoolbox and Google Looker Studio
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to understand complex systems
• Detail-oriented and capable of working with accuracy
• Flexible with working hours
• Fluent in English
