    About us

    Optiml is fast-growing startup with a mission to decarbonise real estate as “the trusted software provider for sustainable and profitable real estate portfolios”. We spun out of ETH Zurich in fall 2022 and raised our $1.6m pre-seed from top-notch US & EU funds: Innovation Endeavors (San Francisco – fund of former Google CEO Eric Schmidt) and Planet A (Berlin).Our innovative solution and its potential to revolutionize the industry has been acknowledged a lot: we won three of the most prestigious awards in recent months (ZIA PropTech of the Year, W.A. De Vigier, << venture <<). In short: although we’re only 1.5 years old we’re getting a lot of traction in since our product launch in April (DACH & UK), recognition by the industry and investor landscape. Now, we’re at the stage where we need more talented and entrepreneurial colleagues to join our team.

    Tasks

    • Support Optiml’s C-Level in being their most effective selves and function as a valuable sparring partner (i.e., all aspects of developing a Climate Tech startup in B2B SaaS software right after Pre-seed closing)
    • Primary focus: Own and execute strategic projects with any possible scope or topic (e.g., business, sales and go-to-market, strategy and business development, fundraising and investor management, product growth, marketing, etc.).
    • Secondary focus: Drive various day-to-day tasks and systematic ramp-up of the organization, such as Sales (e.g., analyze leads, detail sales strategy, prepare and support sales meetings), Marketing & PR (e.g., organize trade fairs), IR (e.g., prepare Board meetings), Finance & Accounting (e.g., plan budgets)
    • Collaborate closely with the Chief of Staff to build a scalable organization

    Must have

    • 3+ years of experience in a Top-Tier consultancy (MBB) (i.e., (Senior)Consultant)
    • Experience with B2B SaaS and Sales / GtM
    • Strong analytical skills (e.g., business planning, market modeling, due diligences)
    • Ability to contribute individually and in teams.
    • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English, German (native)
    • German or EU citizenship (unfortunately due to size, we can’t support non-EU).
