Tasks

Innovative Full-Stack Development: Independently design, develop, and optimize modern web applications across both front- and backend.
End-to-End Ownership: Manage the complete development lifecycle - from requirements analysis to testing and deployment.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with design, product, and other engineering teams to continually refine the system architecture.
System Optimization & Scaling: Analyze, refactor, and scale existing systems to ensure high performance and a superior user experience.
Technical Leadership: Contribute to technical decisions, perform code reviews, and mentor junior developers to foster best practices and share your knowledge.

Requirements

Proven experience in full-stack development with a strong command of modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js) and back-end technologies (e.g., Express.js / Node.js, Python)
Demonstrated ability to build scalable, high-performance web applications and implement effective optimization strategies
Proficiency in agile development methodologies (experience with Shape Up is a plus), CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing to ensure rapid, reliable delivery
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities with a passion for clean, maintainable code
Strong interpersonal skills with a proven track record of cross-functional collaboration and glue work
Highly motivated and proactive, eager to take ownership of the full domain and follow through in a fast-paced, aspiring startup environment
Fluency in English and good command of German
