Together with the CDO of the Schunk Group, an international technology group with operations in 26 countries, we are looking for a Software Engineer (m/f/d) for Edge-IoT-Applications to further develop the group-wide digitization strategy at the Heuchelheim site (FFM area).

Tasks
- You take responsibility and the technical lead for the further development and support of the existing edge platform and ensure the development and seamless integration of new requirements in .NET
- You connect operating systems (Linux) and create APIs to further develop the overall system design
- You work closely with the business units to understand their requirements and integrate them into the further development of the system
- Together with the team, you optimize the connection of machines and sensors to the IoT platform using protocols such as Modbus and OPC UA
Requirements
- You possess solid knowledge of software development with .NET and system configuration in Linux is not unfamiliar to you
- You have experience in the development of applications and interfaces for IoT environments
- Ideally, you have practical experience with communication protocols such as Modbus and OPC UA
- You are a communicative team player, like to take responsibility and have excellent English skills
