As a Senior Solution Engineering, you will play an essential role in shaping and delivering our advanced supply chain solutions for enterprise customers in retail, logistics, and manufacturing. This position requires a combination of deep technical expertise, strategic client management skills, and a profound understanding of the supply chain and challenges for companies in these vertical markets. You will be supporting the sales team in the presales phase with a focus on qualifying the prospect and ist current challenges, lead the technical deep dive and execute a Proof of Value to win new customer projects.

Tasks

As a Senior Solution Engineer, you will:

Solution Design and Technical Expertise:

Leverage your knowledge of retail, logistics, and manufacturing processes to guide the prospect through the evaluation phase
Collaborate with clients to understand complex business needs and map our supply chain solutions to address their unique requirements
Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscapes to inform product development, data scientists and sales

Client Engagement and Stakeholder Management:

Serve as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, providing insights and recommendations to drive operational efficiency and competitive advantage.
Manage relationships with key decision-makers, building long-term partnerships and ensuring alignment with client business objectives.
Lead discovery workshops, solution demonstrations, and technical presentations, ensuring alignment between client needs and solution capabilities.

Project Oversight and Delivery Excellence:

Oversee solution implementation throughout the Proof-of Value phase, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with quality standards.
Collaborate with project managers and other cross-functional teams to ensure seamless deployment and integration of solutions.
Identify and mitigate potential risks, proactively resolving issues that could impact project success.

Strategic Contributions and Continuous Improvement:

Contribute to product development by providing feedback from clients and industry insights to the product management team.
Continuously seek opportunities to enhance solution efficiency, scalability, and performance.
Drive initiatives to improve solution deployment processes, optimize resources, and elevate the overall client experience.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
5+ years of experience in a similar field (Customer Success Manager, Account Manager, Business Analyst, Project Manager, Data Science Consultant) with Enterprise/B2B customers
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
Good time management, strategic planning, and organizational skills
Affinity for data science and technical topics - you are comfortable communicating about complex topics with decision-makers
Affinity to data and databases (Snowflake)
Experience in the domain of supply-chains is a plus
Experience in a B2B software company is a plus / product company
Basic knowledge of statistics and machine learning concepts is a plus
Basic knowledge about data-engineering-processes is a plus
Fluent in German (as the focus is DACH) and English (as we are an international company)
