  • YOUR MISSION:

    As Head of Sales Engineering DACH (f/m/d)* you will lead and inspire our team(s) within Sales Engineering to deliver exceptional technical solutions and drive strategic growth in the DACH region.

    You will have four direct reports, including our Team Lead Sales Engineering DACH, and specialists on topics such as Channel Sales Engineering or Infrastructure.

    IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

    • Develop and implement a strategic vision for the Sales Engineering function, aligning with overall business goals and driving innovative solutions.
    • Lead, mentor, and develop your direct reports, fostering their professional growth and ensuring team cohesion.
    • Handle escalations and provide direct support to Sales Engineers, ensuring exceptional customer experiences.
    • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, support, product management, engineering teams, and departments like Customer Experience to ensure alignment and effective communication.
    • Understand and anticipate customer needs, maintaining composure under pressure and fostering a customer-focused culture.
    • Plan for the future by preparing to lead multiple teams across the DACH region, including Channel Sales Engineering.
    • Manage budgets and forecast revenues, contributing to the financial planning of the organization.

    WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

    • Proven deep experience in enterprise technology with a strong technical foundation.
    • Minimum of 5 years as a Sales Engineer or in a comparable role at a SaaS vendor, proficient in handling RFPs, technical selling, and complex customer requirements.
    • Extensive experience working collaboratively with departments related to GTM, such as marketing, support, product management, and engineering.
    • Exceptional presentation skills and effective verbal and written communication in German and English.
    • Strong background in telephony, contact center, AI, or related fields within the enterprise SaaS space.
    • Deep understanding of the DACH region's market dynamics, customer behavior, and competitive landscape.

    NICE TO HAVE:

    • Familiarity with contact centers, AI, telephony, or customer service domains.
    • Experience in contact center operations, VOIP/Telephony, and familiarity with sales tools such as Salesforce (SFDC).
