    • YOUR MISSION:

    As a Senior Backend Engineer (f/m/d) in our Product Suite Team, you will be designing and building scalable foundational services that power our products. As a member of the Product Suite Team, your goal is to minimize the cognitive load on our product engineering teams, enabling them to focus on delivering unique value to our customers. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify their needs, ensuring that the services you develop align with Parloa's broader goals.

    IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

    • Design and develop efficient backend solutions based on Node.js/Typescript running containerized as highly scalable applications in Kubernetes clusters.
    • Evaluate new technologies and their integration into our current codebase in the form of research sprints.
    • Work hand-by-hand with the other teams to create a coherent product platform
    • Mentor and provide technical guidance to other engineers, promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
    • Share your technical knowledge with your peers, so the whole team can benefit from each other's experiences.
    • Actively exchange code review feedbacks with other software engineers, considering both style and implementation.

    React/Redux, TypeScript, NodeJS, Inversify, NestJS, Lerna, Koa, Jest, Kubernetes, Docker, MongoDB, Redis

     

    WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

    • Proficiency in backend engineering that you have mastered during your 5+ years of work experience.
    • Experience in designing, building, documenting and distributing robust and developer-friendly platform solutions end to end. You grasp the complexities of developing shared and foundational services that cater to the diverse needs of our customers and internal teams.
    • Leadership experience, with the ability to act as a technical mentor and role model for other engineers. Ideally, proficiency in leading pair and mob programming sessions as well as expertise in setting up and running technical brainstorming and solution design sessions.
    • Passion for writing clean and modular code that is easy to maintain, update, test and scale.
    • Solid work experience with OOP-Typescript, NodeJS, MongoDB, and Docker.
    • Eagerness to take ownership of a task from inception to completion without losing focus of the business context.
