Your mission
As our People & Culture Working Student, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our HR operations and fostering a positive workplace culture. You’ll assist with day-to-day tasks to ensure our remote team runs smoothly, from administrative HR processes to culture-building initiatives and recruiting as well as events planning. This is a hands-on role where you can deepen your practical experience and make a meaningful impact in an agile, ever-evolving environment.
What You’ll Be Working On
HR Operations Support:
- Assist in managing day-to-day HR operations, including document preparation, data management, and ensuring processes run efficiently.
- Help implement and maintain clear, supportive policies that reflect our values and meet compliance standards.
Onboarding & Retention:
- Contribute to an engaging onboarding process to ensure new team members feel valued and supported from day one.
- Provide support for employee engagement initiatives to keep the team motivated and happy in their roles.
Culture Development:
- Support the development of a thriving, remote-first culture where everyone feels seen, heard, and appreciated.
- Help organize and execute creative team engagement initiatives, virtual events, and meaningful check-ins to foster a strong sense of community.
Talent Acquisiton:
- Play a vital role in recruitment, ensuring an outstanding experience for every candidate from the first touchpoint to offer acceptance.
- You’ll help find people who align with our values and culture, building relationships that ensure every hire feels like they’ve found their home at PartsCloud.
Who We’re Looking For
- Experienced and enrolled student: You are currently enrolled in a university in Germany, ideally in economics with a focus on HR, psychology or law, and therefore eligible and available to work as a working student for 20 hours per week, maybe more during your semester breaks. Also having gained work experience in HR is a must.
- Detail-Oriented Contributor: You thrive in the details, ensuring smooth processes and creating a solid foundation for a positive workplace.
- Culture Advocate: You understand the importance of a strong, inclusive culture and are excited to contribute to building one in a remote setup.
- Strong Communicator: You can connect with people, build trust, and assist in resolving concerns effectively. Proficiency in German and fluency in English are a must for internal and external communication needs.
- Proactive Team Player: You’re adaptable, self-motivated, and ready to support the team in a dynamic startup environment.
