Pelicad is an early-stage SaaS startup that enables architects to create 3D renderings in minutes by leveraging BIM, AI, and CAD technologies. We are a small team iterating fast on our product, shipping updates every week. Because we combine AI with 3D, we need radical thinkers who can develop new concepts for an unexplored AI space, bridging the gap to brand-new tech. We are developing an AI image creation that is fast, flexible but meanwhile super easy to use with one click and no tech knowledge.

We’ve just secured Pre-Seed funding, so you’ll be joining at a pivotal moment—early enough to shape our foundation, with the backing to move fast.

Your Role

As our Senior Software Developer, you’ll be deeply embedded in the full development cycle—from architecture to implementation to customer feedback. You’ll take strategic direction from the CTO but own your execution, driving progress with a mix of autonomy and alignment.

This role is ideal for someone who’s worked with AI-based tools, loves simplifying complex tech, and enjoys wearing multiple hats: dev, reviewer, product shaper.

You’ll be instrumental in shaping not only the code but the product itself.

Tasks

Design, build, and maintain scalable software systems (~90% of your time).
Review and refine peers’ code to ensure quality and performance.
Prioritize bugs and features based on real customer feedback and business impact.
Participate in customer calls to understand pain points and gather insights.
Lead parts of the dev process—balancing technical leadership with hands-on execution.

Requirements

Fluent English (spoken and written)
Experience working with large codebases and live customer-facing products
Strong Python skills and its ecosystem for ML, data analysis, and web dev (experience with image generation is a plus)
Experience with frontend development frameworks (e.g., Vue.js, Angular, React)
You’ve worked in agile development teams, done code reviews, and enjoy collaborative iteration
You value MVPs over perfection and prefer momentum to overplanning
Interest in architecture, rendering, or 3D graphics is a bonus
Comfort with ambiguity and strong self-management skills—this is a senior role, not a managed one
