ABAP Developer with FI - hybrid in Berlin

Job Title: ABAP Developer (m/f/d) with SAP Finance

Location: Berlin | Hybrid (2 days a week on-site)

If so, we’d love for you to join our client’s team as an ABAP Developer (m/f/d), for this new role in the telecommunications sector!

Tasks

A bit about the role:

Interface Design: Develop and implement interfaces for data exchange between SAP and non-SAP systems.

Client Collaboration: Work closely with customers and consultants to analyse requirements and develop tailored solutions.

Business Process Development: Implement User-Exits and custom programs to support and optimize business processes within SAP Contract Accounting (SAP FI-CA).

Software Maintenance: Maintain and enhance existing software while consolidating programs for better performance and efficiency.

Performance Optimization: Focus on improving performance for mass data processing.

UI5 Application Development: Design, maintain, and further develop UI5 applications.

Customizing: Handle smaller customizing tasks, such as setting up posting logic or dunning processes using BRF+ and Collection Strategy.

Operational Support: Assist with troubleshooting and resolving issues in production environments.

Requirements

4+ years of experience in ABAP/ABAP-OO development.

Experience with core SAP ABAP technologies like IDoc, Smartform, and SAP UI5.

Initial experience in SAP Finance (ideally SAP FI or FI-CA).

High standards of quality with a focus on continuous learning and improvement.

Good communication skills in both German (minimum B1) and English.
