IT Engineer / CAD, PLM and PDM Specialist

Tasks

1. CAD, PLM, and PDM Support:

• Manage, support, and optimize CAD, PLM, and PDM systems to ensure smooth operation across the organization.
• Provide technical assistance and troubleshoot issues related to CAD, PLM, and PDM software.

1. System Integration and Maintenance:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate CAD, PLM, and PDM systems with other enterprise applications.
• Perform regular system maintenance, updates, and backups to ensure data integrity and security.

1. Process Improvement:

• Identify opportunities to improve product data management and lifecycle management processes.
• Develop and implement best practices and workflows to enhance system efficiency and user experience.

1. User Training and Support:

• Train and support end-users on CAD, PLM, and PDM tools, ensuring they are equipped to use the systems effectively.
• Create and maintain user guides, FAQs, and other support documentation.

1. Project Collaboration:

• Work closely with the IT and Engineering teams to support ongoing projects and initiatives.
• Participate in project planning, providing input on system capabilities and requirements.

1. Data Management:

• Ensure accurate and consistent data management across CAD, PLM, and PDM platforms.
• Manage access controls and permissions to maintain data security and compliance.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an IT Engineer or similar role.
• Proven experience with CAD, PLM, and PDM systems (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work in a hybrid environment.
