  • As a People Planner at Picnic, you’ll be essential in creating effective, balanced weekly schedules for our Runners, who deliver orders directly to customers. Your job is to ensure each Runner (in all Picnic countries: Netherlands, Germany & France) knows when they work, keeping both employees and the business satisfied. You’ll use our in-house developed scheduling algorithm, focusing on operational efficiency and employee satisfaction. This role starts in January, and we’re looking for someone who is passionate about logistics and planning.

    Your tasks

    • Create weekly schedules for our employees based on their availability.
    • Make a significant contribution to the satisfaction of our employees.
    • Create creative solutions to capacity & planning challenges.

    About you

    • You have a Bachelor’s (or currently studying Bachelors or Masters) in Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
    • Initial professional experience in the analytics area is welcome.
    • Analytical mindset and an eye for detail.
    • Confident use of Excel/Google Sheets.
    • Initial programming experience (AppScript/Javascript/Python) welcomed.
    • Fluent German and solid English skills, French skills are welcomed.
