At Pixel Robotics, we are developing a new generation of autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), such as our PIXEL PT. As a student, you'll work closely with our CTO and gain hands-on experience in all aspects of growing a deep-tech startup.
Tasks
- Develop and test software and algorithms for mobile robot systems
- Assist with optimizing code and conducting performance testing to improve efficiency and reduce computational resources
- Contribute to research efforts by exploring new algorithms and providing analysis of results
- Participate in integration and testing of systems at customer sites
- Documentation and knowledge management responsibilities, such as organizing code repositories and creating technical reports or user manuals
- Assist the CTO in operational tasks, e.g. improving a pitch deck, preparing customer demos and project meetings or screening software tools
Requirements
- Affinity and interest in technical management and entrepreneurship
- Personal initiative, structured way of working and creativity
- Hands-on experience with ROS / ROS2
- First experience with Python and/or C/C++
- Strong communication skills, willingness to take responsibility and focus on results
- You are a good team player and convince with your friendly and empathetic manner
- Education: Ongoing/completed studies in the field of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, Mathematics, or related
- Beneficial: Good German level and valid drivers license (class B)
