Functional Safety Engineer

Would you like to join an international team with flat hierarchies and support a leading German premium OEM with your knowledge and experience in Functional Safety? Join us to provide comprehensive support for various departments during a complete lifecycle in safety relevant functions (including Engineering, Quality Assurance and Production).

Tasks

• Creation of hazard analyses and risk assessments
• Development of reports and safety concepts with respect to ISO 26262
• Testing and Validation in relation to functional safety requirements
• Definition and monitoring of Development Interface Agreement (DIA) as well as analysis of safety relevant components like FTA, FMEA or DFA
• Optimization of critical requirements, support in homologation process and consultancy on functional requirements

Requirements

• University degree in Functional Safety Engineering, RAMS or similar
• Background in Functional Safety, Automotive Safety Integrity Level, Project Management or Software Quality Assurance
• Experience with tools like Jira or Confluence
• Expertise in ISO 26262 and analysis methods like FTA, FMEA, effective chain analysis or similar
• Fluency in English and German
• Familiarity with ISO 21434, ISO 21448, IEC 61508 is a plus/ highly desirable
