  • What is Glow25?

Hey there! We’re Glow25 – a dynamic, fast-growing Beauty & Well Aging company from Berlin. Our mission is to create glow moments and empower our customers to unlock their full beauty and potential.

We might be a little biased, but we genuinely believe working with us is a lot of fun. We’re a remote-first team (currently spread across Germany) and, despite the physical distance, we prioritize building strong connections with each other while making sure to enjoy our work.

Now, this is where you come in! We’re continuing to grow rapidly and are on the lookout for empathetic, smart, resilient, and values-driven colleagues to join us. We have big plans, and we want you to bring your best self, your knowledge, and your unique personality to help us achieve them!

These are our current challenges and future goals:

The Head of Data will be responsible for establishing and executing a comprehensive data strategy that consolidates data from multiple systems, supporting marketing initiatives and driving business growth. As the data needs of the organization are rapidly expanding, this role will focus on scaling the data team and building the capabilities required to handle increasing complexity. The Head of Data will collaborate with marketing, technology and other departments to deliver actionable insights, ensuring the business can make informed, data driven decisions.

This is where we need your support:

    • Develop and Execute Data Strategy: You lead the creation of a unified data strategy that consolidates data from marketing campaigns, e-commerce platforms, ERP, and inventory management tools. This framework directly supports business growth by addressing evolving data needs and aligning with both marketing and company goals.
    • Scale the Data Team: You play a central role in expanding the data team, working with the Director of Technology to recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing group. Your guidance ensures team members are well-prepared for future challenges and professional growth.
    • Support Marketing with Data-Driven Insights: You partner closely with marketing stakeholders, understanding their goals to ensure that data analysis yields actionable insights. These insights drive campaign success, improve customer engagement, and contribute to broader growth strategies.
    • Collaborate Across Functions: You serve as a strategic partner to leaders in marketing, finance, and operations, aligning data insights with their objectives to address business challenges. By fostering cross-functional collaboration, you ensure that data effectively supports diverse goals across the company.
    • Enhance Data Tools and Infrastructure: You oversee the development and enhancement of data tools and infrastructure, making data accessible and actionable for key teams. Collaborating with IT and other departments, you ensure seamless data integration while maintaining high standards of data privacy, security, and quality.
    • Advanced Analytics and Reporting: You lead the advancement of analytics and reporting capabilities, providing in-depth insights across marketing and other areas. Through promoting a data-driven culture, you encourage data-based decision-making across the company, amplifying its impact on business success.

    You have the following experience:

    • You bring 7-10+ years of experience in data management, strategy, or analytics, including 3-5 years in a leadership role.
    • You are fluent in both spoken and written business English (C1). German is a plus, but not required
    • You have a proven track record of developing data strategies that drive meaningful business impact.
    • You possess strong analytical skills with a keen understanding of business needs and stakeholder management.
    • You are familiar with marketing-related data and insights, which is a strong asset.
    • You are proficient in data pipeline and data warehouse management, analytics platforms, and programming languages like SQL and Python.

That's something you can look forward to:

    • Flexible working hours and time tracking.
    • Unlimited access to the latest courses on tech, business, leadership, and mental/physical well-being through your Udemy account.
    • Top-notch equipment rented through Grover and conveniently delivered to your home.
    • A generous 40% discount on our entire range in the shop.
    • 30 days of vacation + the option to take up to 10 days of unpaid leave – because sometimes you just need a little break.
    • Company health insurance that covers additional services worth up to €600 per year (e.g., vision aids, dental cleanings, etc.).
    • Glow Card: With your prepaid credit card, you can shop at selected providers in your area. Each month, you'll receive €50, giving you an annual bonus of €600!
    • After passing your probation period, we offer a company pension plan with an annual contribution of at least €600. And here’s the best part: if you contribute to the plan yourself, we’ll add an extra 20% on top.
    • We don’t want to brag, but we think our Kununu score speaks for itself. We love that our employees are so happy with us, and we believe that’s worth sharing!

Yay! You've made it this far!

    If you're still reading, there's a good chance that we're a match.

But there’s one more thing we want to say: Don’t hesitate! Especially if you’re a woman, or from an underrepresented group. Even if you don’t check every box, we want to encourage you to apply anyway. We believe that a diverse range of perspectives and experiences makes a team stronger – and the stronger our team is, the better we can fulfill our mission of helping people bring more energy into their daily lives.
