Deskside Support Level 1 Technician

Join our team as a Deskside Support Level 1 Technician and be the first line of assistance for our employees' technology needs. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide hands-on support and ensure the smooth operation of our IT systems.

Tasks

• Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripheral devices.
• Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues promptly.
• Set up and configure new equipment for users.
• Collaborate with other IT team members to escalate complex issues as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of IT inventory and equipment.
• Assist in the implementation of IT projects and initiatives as assigned.

Requirements

• Technical certifications or coursework in IT preferred.
• Proven experience in a technical support role or similar position.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and Office Suite.
• Familiarity with basic networking concepts.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical users.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Local language - German B2
