About the Job
We’re looking for a motivated Head of People (m/f/d) to join one of our portfolio companies. In this role, you will drive talent management, employee engagement, professional development, and internal communications, fostering a positive and cohesive workplace culture.
In your day-to-day work, you’ll focus on designing and implementing policies that foster diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace. You’ll collaborate closely with senior management to align HR strategies with the organization’s objectives. Additionally, you’ll oversee the People experience and internal communications, ensuring clear, consistent, and transparent messaging across the company.
Join our portfolio company: A German dual-use technology company that develops unmanned ground vehicles to spearhead automation in both governmental and civilian use cases.
In this role, you’ll:
- Develop and implement strategies for talent acquisition, people development & operations, retention, and succession planning
- Foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture that aligns with company values and improves employee engagement.
- Create and communicate HR policies that support business goals and comply with legal standards
- Work closely with senior leadership to align people and culture strategies with overall business plans
- Lead the People team to improve transparency, communication, and community within the company
- Oversee daily People Operations, development programs, and HR tools
- Leverage data to improve hiring, workforce planning, and employee experience through informed decision-making
Your Profile
- 5-8 years of professional experience in talent acquisition
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful People strategies that align with business objectives
- Strong knowledge of employment legislation, diversity and inclusion practices, and industry standards
- Proven track record in managing talent development programs, employee engagement initiatives, and internal communications
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire employees at all levels
- Experience in change management and the ability to lead an organisation through growth or transformation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organisational Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field
- Fluency in English and German is required
Please note that we are looking for support in theMunichoffice of our portfolio company. Eligibility to work within the EU is required as well.
