    We are seeking an experienced Insurance Product Manager (m/f/d) to join one of our portfolio companies and oversee the lifecycle of its innovative insurance products

    In your day to day work you'll use customer insights, market trends, and data analysis to contribute to the design and implementation of competitive insurance products in collaboration with underwriting, sales, cyber security, and insurance teams.

    In this role, you’ll:

    • Drive the development and continuous improvement of our portfolio’s cyber security insurance products
    • Use customer, market, and data insights to define new products and continuously monitor product performance. Make necessary adjustments and identifying growth and improvement opportunities
    • Create new and enhance existing insurance product roadmaps, and take responsibility for coordinating the successful product implementation from idea to launch
    • Collaborate cross-functionally with all project stakeholders to clarify requirements for product business and tech implementation
    • Act as the subject matter expert in insurance for the tech team and support with the product technical configuration
    • Maintain and create all product related documentation needed to support with sales process

    Your Profile

    • Minimum of two years in an Insurance Product Development position or three years of work experience in an insurance job in operations and process related departments, or consulting in the insurance industry
    • Good knowledge of the insurance industry; including products, processes and workflows, regulations, underwriting guidelines, rating systems, actuarial principles, and market trends
    • Strong ability to analyse market data, customer feedback, and product performance metrics to inform product development and strategy. Proficiency in using Excel (Sheets), Tableau, Looker etc. for analysing market data and product performance
    • Proficient in planning, organisational, analytical, and decision-making skills.
    • Ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and quality. Proficiency in product management tools such as t: Jira, Asana etc
    • Proficiency in business fluent German and English language skills is required

    Please note that we are looking for support in the Berlin office of our portfolio company. Eligibility to work within the EU is required as well.
