    We’re looking for a highly motivated People Operations Manager (m/f/d) to join one of our portfolio companies where you will be the first point of contact for all People Operations related queries, providing prompt and accurate responses and ensuring both clear communication and understanding of People policies and procedures.

    In your day to day work you'll act as a sparring partner, managing all personnel operations with high levels of employee satisfaction in mind. You'll ensure smooth People operations, leveraging your experience in People Operations or a related field, preferably within a tech environment. Additionally your strong understanding of German labor law, payroll, and HR practices will be vital for the role.

    In this role, you’ll:

    • Address people operations queries from employees promptly and accurately, ensuring clear communication and understanding of People policies and procedures
    • Efficiently manage all personnel operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day People operations with high levels of employee satisfaction
    • Manage monthly payroll, compensation, and benefits which are accurately calculated and disbursed on time, ensuring employee satisfaction and adherence to company policies
    • Improve and digitize our people operations processes and tools, making them more efficient and effective. Successfully contribute to people and culture projects
    • Establish strong & positive relationships with both internal and external parties, with the people operations representative acting as a trusted advisor and providing clear guidance on policies and processes
    • Effectively follow HR analytics to gain insights into employee performance and trends, which will help us make better decisions and improve our people practices continuously

    Your Profile

    • Several years of experience in People Operations or a related field, preferably within a tech environment
    • Strong understanding of German labor laws, payroll management, and HR practices
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both German & English are required
    • Proficient in HRIS and other People systems
    • Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure and manage various tasks simultaneously

    Please note that we are looking for support in the Aachen office of our portfolio company. Eligibility to work within the EU is required as well.
