    We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Procurement Manager (m/f/d) to join one of our portfolio companies and one of the key tasks is being responsible for the entire Procurement department, the topics include handling the fixed assets, consumables, and operating equipment and you will report directly to the CFO.

    In your day to day work you’ll act as an interface between the project- and R&D-teams, the Project Management Organization (PMO) and the Accounting department. This will further structure the department, introduce methods of purchasing, further develop our digital processes, simplify the interaction of the departments, and negotiate framework contracts.

    In this role, you’ll:

    • Oversee daily purchasing activities
    • Develop a checklist for capex investment negotiations, highlighting key clauses
    • Create a timeline and priority list for the next 3-6 months
    • Define KPIs, routines, and financial metrics for regular reports and performance measurements
    • Conduct ABC/XYZ analysis
    • Negotiate framework agreements
    • Prepare regular project activity summaries for investor and board reports
    • Share expertise with the internal software development team to enhance procurement processes
    • Investigate AI software solutions to streamline daily tasks
    • Draft guidelines for procurement operations that align with company principles

    Your Profile

    • University degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
    • Atleast 10 years of general procurement experience
    • Several years of specializing in Capex-purchasing processes and negotiations, ideally in the semiconductor industry for tier-one production tools
    • Proven experience managing purchases exceeding €100 million
    • 3-5 years of leadership experience
    • Vision for a digital and automated procurement department
    • Strong negotiation skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and German.

    Please note that we’re looking for support in the Aachen office of our portfolio company. Eligibility to work in the EU is required.
