About the Job
We’re looking for a motivated Software Engineer – Robotics and GUI (m/f/d) to join one of our portfolio companies to focus on developing advanced unmanned ground vehicles for governmental and civilian applications.
In your day-to-day work, you’ll program and design the communication and control station for our portfolio company’s robot, ensuring the secure and efficient operation of their robotic platforms.

In this role, you’ll:
- Programme and integrate software for sensor and actuator systems in robotics applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, deliver, and refine integrated robotic solutions
- Test and validate hardware-software integrations, ensuring reliability, security, and adherence to operational standards
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for on-site and remote issues, resolving system challenges promptly
- Document technical processes and configurations to enhance knowledge sharing and foster collaboration
Your Profile
- Proficiency in C++ development and application design
- Experience with QML and Qt to design intuitive control stations for robots, as well as robotics control and monitoring interfaces
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a collaborative mindset, with the capability to work both independently and within agile teams
- Experience with robotic software integration, ideally with the Robot Operating System (ROS 2), is advantageous
- Bachelor’s degree, Master's degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Robotics, or a related field
- Fluency in English is required, and German is a plus
Please note that we are looking for support in the Munich office of our portfolio company. Eligibility to work within the EU is required as well.
