Working student Laser characterization and test automation (m/f/d)

Your mission

Are you looking to gain practical experience and have interest in optics? Then you’re in the right place! We are looking for a motivated Working student (m/f/d) to join our team.

Together with your team, you qualify novel lasers for use in quantum sensors
You develop, adjust and use optical setups and measurement methods to characterize the lasers
You program and test efficient measurement sequences for the automation of laboratory tasks
You document your results and write instructions for the standardization of measurements
You get the opportunity to actively shape and improve our development processes and products

Your profile

You are studying optics, physics, electrical engineering or a comparable field of study, ideally at a Master's degree level
You have basic knowledge and interest in applied optics and enjoy practical laboratory work
You have basic knowledge in programming, ideally in Python
You have strong English skills
You are looking forward to working on projects quickly and efficiently in an interdisciplinary team and would like to shape the future of photonics with us
