Business Developer - DACH Consulting

Therefore, we are seeking a well-connected and dynamic Business Developer focused on SAP Finance Transformations to drive business growth and project acquisition. In this key role, you will leverage your extensive network within the SAP ecosystem on the DACH market to identify and secure new projects, build strong client relationships, and design tailored SAP Finance solutions, in cooperation with our experts.

Tasks

Client Engagement and Relationship Management: Identify and engage potential clients, build strong relationships with key stakeholders, and maintain ongoing client communication.

Needs Assessment and Solution Design: Conduct comprehensive business needs analysis and design custom SAP finance solutions with our experts.

Proposal Development and Presentation: Create compelling proposals and presentations, emphasizing benefits, ROI, and competitive advantages.

Deal Closing and Collaboration: Be an expert in closing deals and collaborating with the Delivery Manager to provide a smooth transition of the delivery of the project.

Collaboration with SAP Consultants and Technical Teams: Work closely with SAP consultants to ensure technical integrity and solution feasibility, facilitating effective communication between clients and technical teams.

Market and Industry Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies, identifying new business opportunities.

Monitoring and Reporting: Track project progress and performance metrics, providing regular updates to stakeholders.

Requirements

Technology and Market Expertise:

• A good understanding of the SAP Finance basics (e.g., SAP S/4HANA Finance, SAP FICO) to understand our potential clients needs and to easily identify project opportunities.
• Background in consulting, especially within finance transformation and large enterprises, is beneficial.
• Understanding of integration points between SAP finance and other modules/systems.
• Ability to align SAP solutions with business objectives and strategies.
• Strong understanding of financial processes and principles.
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and industry trends.

Relationship Building:

• Strong interpersonal skills for maintaining client relationships and working collaboratively with diverse teams.
• A strong network on the DACH market related to SAP and Finance Transformations.

Negotiation Mastery and Communication Expert:

• Proven experience in sales and business development.
• Strong negotiation skills to secure contracts and close deals.
• Excellent communication, client-facing, and pre-sales skills.
