Tasks

• Monitor and maintain company computer systems, networks and servers.
• Install, configure and troubleshoot hardware and software, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
• Manage user accounts, permissions and access rights in systems like Active Directory or similar platforms.
• Ensure network security by implementing firewalls, antivirus solutions and regular updates.
• Conduct regular system backups and disaster recovery operations.
• Provide technical support to employees, resolving IT-related issues in a timely manner.
• Set up and maintain communication systems, such as email servers and ensure reliable access to the internet.
• Collaborate with other IT staff and departments on technical projects.
• Perform routine system updates and proactively suggest improvements to infrastructure

Requirements

• Experience with Windows/Linux operating systems and basic server management.
• Familiarity with networking (DNS, DHCP, VPN) and network troubleshooting tools.
• Understanding of security best practices and hands-on experience with antivirus software, firewalls, and data protection.
• Knowledge of hardware troubleshooting (printers, workstations, routers).
• Basic familiarity with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud technologies is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under minimal supervision.
• 1+ years of experience in IT support or system administration (open to entry-level candidates with relevant training).
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly.
• Strong communication skills to assist non-technical colleagues with technical issues.
• Fluency in English (German is a plus, but not required)
