Junior Financial Controller (f/m/d)

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Financial Controller to join our dynamic finance team at Raisin Bank. As a tech-driven bank, we are looking for someone who is excited to contribute to our financial management and analysis processes. The Junior Financial Controller will play a important role in supporting financial reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis within a fast-paced, technology-focused environment.

Your Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
• Contribute to the budgeting and forecasting processes by gathering, analyzing, and interpreting financial data.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy with accounting standards.
• Support the preparation and coordination of internal and external audits.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate financial data with tech-driven tools.
• Ensure compliance with German financial regulations (HGB, IFRS) and banking industry standards.
• Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reports to senior management to support business growth initiatives.

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in finance, accounting, or a similar role, preferably within the banking or FinTech industry.
• Understanding of German accounting principles (HGB) and international standards (IFRS) is plus
• Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (NetSuite)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
