As a Software Engineer (m/f/d) at Ratepay, you will make a significant contribution to our shared mission of building and developing secure and simple payment solutions for the online retail market, which still continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the development, operation, and continuous improvement of our systems.
- Integrate internal and external APIs within a microservice architecture.
- Provide tools and metrics to effectively monitor both technical and business KPIs.
Das bringst Du mit- A minimum of 4 years of professional experience in Java backend development; familiarity with Kotlin is a plus.
- Hands-on expertise in software engineering with Spring/Spring Boot, Git, Maven, Docker, and Jenkins.
- Deep understanding of RESTful APIs & microservices.
- Proven track record of building high-quality customer solutions in an agile environment.
- Full involvement in the software development lifecycle, embracing a DevOps mindset ("you build it, you run it").
- Ability to work independently while fostering collaboration within your team and across departments to deliver high-value solutions for stakeholders and merchants.
- Strong command of the English language.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in AWS cloud technologies.
- Knowledge of event-driven architecture (Apache Kafka).
- Experience with Kotlin.
