The site's audience of over 6 million monthly users is drawn in by a combination of news, editorial, club listings and ticketing, RA-branded events at venues and festivals worldwide, original films and a weekly mix series that has run for 18 years. 

    Purpose of the role:

    We are looking for someone to join RA’s growing product team who is passionate about electronic music and wants to get involved in creating and improving RA’s products for the electronic music community. You will report to the Head of Product and work within our B2C-oriented team. RA offers hybrid working, allowing all employees to work both remotely and in the office and encouraging all staff to work from the office at least three days per week. 

    Key responsibilities:

    • Writing product requirement documents covering functional and non-functional requirements
    • Using data and user research to inform decision-making and prioritisation
    • Talking to stakeholders around the business to understand their wants and needs
    • Briefing the product design team so that they can produce designs satisfying the requirements
    • Working with the development team leads to understanding what is possible and the tradeoff between impact and effort
    • Analyse the competitive landscape, define strengths and weaknesses of your product area, and identify opportunities
    • Coordinating and running sprint planning, retrospectives and other agile meetings
    • Managing a backlog of incoming bugs and requests

    We’re looking for:

    • Professional experience of 3 years+ in a product management role within the technology space
    • Product experience within a B2C setting is preferred
    • Experience building and shipping great software, including responsibilities driving prioritisation, trade-offs, and timelines
    • Someone who can work independently and manage their own time effectively
    • Familiarity with the software development stages and understanding how components and activities fit together. This could be from a previous role, boot camp, or university course
    • Familiarity and experience working with agile methodologies
    • Confidence in some kind of data manipulation or analysis e.g. SQL, spreadsheets or business intelligence tools
