    The Software Technical Project Manager is responsible for the planning and execution of new avionics products developed internally at the company or outsourced to a supplier. The Software Technical Project Manager collaborates with cross functional project teams from engineering, operations, and quality to define the project plan, milestones, project risks, and leads the execution effort to deliver projects effectively and efficiently according to plan. This position works with internal stakeholders and external subcontract management to foster an open communication while implementing project-based processes to bring increased efficiency in the delivery of all projects. 

    Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

    • Manage the timely completion of the different software releases to be provided to our customers  
    • Ensure that all deliveries follow the corresponding release process and comply with our quality standards 
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and maintain project plan, milestones, hardware compatibility, and software demands with the appropriate tools 
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to drive the required actions to execute the project plan 
    • Work with internal and external stakeholders to foster an open communication channel to drive the project execution according to the plan 
    • Track and report project status and perform risk management with the cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks 
    • Motivate and guide project teams for results and completion 
    • Think critically about the task at hand and maintain a good understanding of problems at project level 
    • Analyze and evaluate the existing process to identify room for improvement and implement the necessary changes 
    • Continuously contribute to improve established processes 

    Requirements

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in a related field 
    • 1-3 years of experience working on product management, software release management, or technical project management 
    • Working knowledge and familiarity with Product Development processes and Software Life Cycle is desirable  
    • Experience with Project Management tools (e.g., Trello, Kanban, JIRA, MS Office applications including Excel, Project etc) 

    Soft Skills:

    • Strong written and verbal English communication skills 
    • Proactive, organized and a team player mindset 
    • Capable of working independently, with minimal direction, on multiple concurrent tasks 
    • Able to use discretion and independent judgment when making decisions on behalf of the company 
    • Capable of negotiating mutually agreeable conclusions to conflicts 
    • Meticulous, organized and detail-oriented
