Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain PHP-based web applications and back-end systems
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices and development standards
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and assist in improving user experience
- Work with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.) and optimize data queries and performance
- Contribute to all stages of the software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, and deployment
- Stay updated on the latest PHP trends, libraries, and frameworks
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in PHP development
- Strong proficiency in PHP and experience with PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or Zend
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles
- Experience with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar
- Familiarity with RESTful API development and integration
- Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and templating engines
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
Nice to Have:
- Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
