  • As a Product Designer, you will become part of one of our two Avrios product teams, taking responsibility for crafting outstanding product experiences—from Discovery to Delivery. You will ensure that designs are aligned with key stakeholders and incorporate their feedback throughout the entire process. In close collaboration with other Designers, Product Managers, and Engineers, you will develop intuitive, simple, yet powerful products. Your customer-centric approach ensures that the needs of our users are at the heart of every decision while co-defining the strategic direction.

    The role

    • Influence the user experience: Take ownership of the end-to-end design process across the Avrios product lifecycle, from product discovery to defining the vision for impactful user experiences.
    • Collaborate as a true partner: Work closely with Product Managers, Researchers, and Engineers to conduct deep user research, ensuring the team truly understands and delivers on user needs.
    • Drive design decisions: Lead conversations with peer Product Designers to propose, refine, and commit to final UX and UI deliverables while fostering a culture of feedback and iteration.
    • Shape the future of our design system: Maintain, enhance, and design its evolution, enabling designers across teams to deliver an exceptional and cohesive 360° customer experience.

    What makes this role special

    • Collaborative culture: Conversations with Product Managers happen at eye level, and you’ll play a key role in shaping what we need for the future. Whether it's working on homepages or adding new features, your input will drive real change.
    • Empowered by leadership: Our leadership team is incredibly open, fostering a bottom-up culture where your ideas matter, and you can help shape the direction of design.
    • Shape the agenda: Unlike many companies that outsource major projects like rebranding, we handle everything in-house. This gives you the chance to truly make an impact and influence the direction of our design work.

    About your profile

    • Fluent in German and English: You speak both languages at a minimum C1 level.
    • Extensive UX and UI expertise: You have experience as a CX Designer, Product Designer, UX Designer, or a similar role, collaborating directly with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to implement designs.
    • T-shaped skills: You’re a strong product designer with additional expertise in areas like motion, growth or brand design.
    • Proven project leadership: You have successfully driven medium design projects, applying user-centered design methodologies and research to address complex product challenges.
    • Business impact understanding: You know how product design contributes to achieving business objectives and strategy.
    • Impressive portfolio: Your work demonstrates a user-centered approach, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail (please share a link to your portfolio with your application)
    • Design system experience: You’ve maintained and evolved design systems, enabling consistent and effective design language across all touchpoints.
    • Team-oriented mindset: You value a positive culture of collaboration, frequent feedback, and mutual respect to drive a strong team.
