Our customer in the automotive industry has initiated a carve-out project to transition an existing unit into an independent company. As part of this project, SAP and non-SAP systems will be partially rebuilt, adapted, and implemented to meet the requirements of the new organization.
To support this initiative, we are seeking an experienced Enterprise architect for SAP and non-SAP Systems. This is a full-time role with an occasional on-site presence in Hanover. The expected project duration is 6–12 months, with the possibility of extension.

Tasks
- Support the architectural design and IT strategy for the carve-out project, ensuring alignment with the goals of the new independent organization.
- Analyze and assess the current system landscape, including SAP and non-SAP solutions, to identify necessary adaptations or rebuilds.
- Design and oversee the implementation of scalable and efficient system architectures that meet business requirements.
- Provide expert guidance on data migration, integration strategies, and interoperability between systems.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders, including IT teams, business leaders, and external partners, to define and prioritize project deliverables.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, security protocols, and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks associated with the transition. Support project planning, including resource estimation, timelines, and cost management
Requirements
- Extensive experience (10+ years) as an Enterprise Architect or in a similar role, ideally within the automotive or manufacturing industries.
- Proven track record in managing large-scale transformation or carve-out projects.
- Deep expertise in SAP systems (e.g., ECC, etc.) and familiarity with non-SAP systems.
- Several years of leadership experience in IT Management, Enterprise Architecture Management, Application Management, or IT Infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks and methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with data migration, integration tools, and technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex technical challenges.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluency in English; German is a plus.
