Our customer in the automotive industry has initiated a carve-out project to transition an existing unit into an independent company. As part of this project, SAP and non-SAP systems will be partially rebuilt, adapted, and implemented to meet the requirements of the new organization.
To support this initiative, we are seeking an experienced Integration Manager for SAP and non-SAP Systems. This is a full-time role with an occasional on-site presence in Hanover. The expected project duration is 6–12 months, with the possibility of extension.

Tasks
- Develop and manage the overall integration strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with the carve-out project’s objectives.
- Oversee the integration of SAP and non-SAP systems, ensuring seamless data flows and interoperability.
- Identify and address potential integration challenges, including technical incompatibilities and process misalignments.
- Collaborate with technical teams, business stakeholders, and third-party vendors to define integration requirements and priorities.
- Coordinate and monitor the execution of integration tasks, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
- Implement best practices for system integration, including robust testing and validation procedures.
- Provide leadership and guidance to integration teams, fostering collaboration and problem-solving.Identify risks related to system integration and implement mitigation strategies
Requirements
- 10+ years of work experience within SAP/ERP/IT programs as an integration manager and/or IT project manager
- Experience working on large-scale carve-outs, mergers, or IT transformation projects within the automotive or manufacturing industries is highly desirable.
- Strong organization and stakeholder management skills with a hands-on mindset and drive.
- Several years of leadership experience in IT project management (preferably in an international and complex project environment)
- Very good understanding of system landscapes, dependencies and the technical implications on the systems, releases and interfaces
- Good understanding of how ERP systems (especially SAP) are supporting business processes
- Requires excellent problem solving and analytical skills to resolve a variety of routine and complex issues
- Proven capability in negotiation, conflict resolution and stakeholder management
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively and successfully engage in multiple interdependent projects/initiatives simultaneously
- Business level fluency in English and Hungarian both written and verbal
- Fluency in English; German is a plus.
