Tasks
- Your main task is the development of high-performance digital and analog hardware using Altium Designer (circuit design and layout) under consideration of existing development standards and guidelines
- Typical projects are boards with digital electronics and power supply for automotive radar sensors, usually with the latest multi-core processors. Boards for radar RF electronics are also part of the job, those are developed in cooperation with the RF/antenna team
- You are responsible for the hardware specification, schematic design, layout, test, documentation, coordination, interface to CAD design team and implementation of hardware reviews
- You will support external and internal production
- This includes the ramp-up and testing of prototypes for series production
Requirements
- Completed studies in electrical engineering/mechatronics or a comparable field
- You are enthusiastic about hardware development for radar sensor technology
- You have several years of experiences in the EMC-compliant hardware development of fast digital circuits and high-frequency circuits, also with design tools for electronic circuits (e.g. Altium Designer)
- Next to knowledge of test engineering, validation and simulation, you are familiar with PCB technologies and high-speed designs
- Knowledge of signal processing and transmission as well as high-speed communication round off your profile
- You impress with your analytical and logical thinking skills as well as your independent way of working and good command of English
