Tasks

As a Junior Backend Engineer, you'll work alongside our CTO, David, and a dynamic cross-functional team to drive our business forward through innovative backend systems and interfaces.

• Collaborate closely with our CTO and team members to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Design, develop, and maintain backend systems that are robust, scalable, and secure
• Assist in project ownership from conception to deployment, ensuring smooth execution and timely delivery
• Continuously learn and innovate to optimize our backend infrastructure and meet evolving business and technological needs

Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

• A recent Master's graduate in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
• Hands-on experience through academic projects, internships, or coursework in Machine Learning, Data Science and Large Language Models (LLMs)
• Basic understanding of JVM-based languages, with some exposure to Kotlin or Java being a plus
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication skills and a strong sense of responsibility

What’s a Plus:

• Experience with Spring Boot, microservices, and cloud architectures
• Familiarity with the use of LLMs, prompt engineering, and vector databases
• Exposure to DevOps tools such as Docker, AWS, and Terraform
• Experience working on academic or open-source projects related to B2B SaaS
