As a Senior iOS Developer at Spark Networks, you will play a crucial role in advancing our mobile applications. You will work closely with a motivated cross-functional team to develop clean, secure, and reusable code that enhances user experience and maximizes application performance. Your expertise will help drive the success of our mobile apps and contribute to our continuous improvement.

What You'll Do

• Develop Quality Code: Write clean, secure, and reusable code with a focus on long-term maintenance and handling of legacy code.
• Create Modular Components: Build modular components that can be shared across multiple apps.
• Enhance User Experience: Strive to deliver a delightful user experience and maximize application performance.
• Build Maintainable Applications: Develop easily extendable and well-maintainable applications.
• Technology Decisions: Choose the right tools for the job and participate in discussions about different technologies.
• Lead and Mentor: Join and lead discussions about architectural and low-level decisions, sharing your expertise and learning from others.
• Collaborate: Work closely with product management, development, and UX teams in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.

Requirements

Who You Are 

• Experienced Developer: 4+ years of professional experience in native iOS app development.
• Proficient in Swift: Strong Swift skills and a deep understanding of the iOS SDK.
• Architectural Knowledge: Familiar with software development best practices and architectural design patterns.
• Test-Driven: Experienced in writing automated tests (unit tests, UI tests, integration tests).
• UI Expertise: Experience building complex user interfaces and smooth animations.
• Modular Development: Experience in building modules that are reused across multiple apps is a plus.
• SwiftUI and Combine: Familiarity with SwiftUI, Swift Concurrency, and Combine is a plus.[GA1] 
• Passionate and Motivated: Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and good organizational skills.
• Team Player: Enjoys working in a team and supporting colleagues.
• Fast Learner: Willingness and ability to pick up new languages and frameworks when required.
• Fluent in English: Proficient in both written and verbal communication.

• Fluent English skills.
