    We're looking for an ambitious and driven Head of Robotics & AI who is passionate about developing and deploying groundbreaking autonomous mobility solutions. This role is ideal for someone eager to step up into a significant leadership position, driving technology development while directly impacting our strategic direction.

    Tasks

    • Own and Execute Technology Vision: Lead the development and implementation of advanced robotics and AI systems focused on autonomous indoor navigation, mobility, and logistics.
    • Innovate and Prototype: Rapidly develop, test, and iterate prototypes to deliver robust solutions that can scale effectively in real-world deployments.
    • Build and Lead Your Team: Create, mentor, and lead a dynamic team of engineers and developers passionate about autonomy, robotics, and AI.
    • Collaborate Across Disciplines: Work closely with hardware, electronics, and software teams to ensure tight integration and seamless operation of autonomous platforms.
    • Quality & Compliance: Ensure technical solutions meet industry standards and safety requirements for autonomous systems.
    • Strategic Impact: Engage actively with management and stakeholders, shaping strategic and technological decisions without the constraints of a traditional corporate hierarchy.

    Requirements

    • Educational Background: Degree (MSc or PhD) in Robotics, AI, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or similar field.
    • Experience: 3+ years in robotics or autonomous systems; leadership experience beneficial but not required—ambition and capability matter most.
    • Technical Skills: Solid grasp of autonomous navigation, SLAM, path planning, sensor integration, and real-time control systems.
    • Hands-on Approach: Proficiency with ROS, Python, C++, simulation environments, and deploying real-world robotic systems.
    • Mindset: Proactive, self-motivated, hungry to learn, and driven to make meaningful contributions to groundbreaking technology.
    • Communication: Comfortable articulating complex technical ideas clearly and effectively, in English (German beneficial but not required).
