    We're seeking a passionate Content Marketing Manager to help us strengthen brand presence and desirability, engage our technical audience, and build a thriving engineering community around the future of AI-driven product development. This role focuses on translating complex technical concepts into clear and compelling narratives, crafting engaging, high-value content for full-funnel conversion, and nurturing an active professional community to amplify SPREAD's voice and influence in the industry.

    You’ll collaborate closely with our Marketing and Sales teams to develop high-impact campaigns and ultimately drive market adoption. You're the ideal candidate if you're action-oriented with a creative passion for generating and activating content.

    Your Mission

    As our Content Marketing Manager, you will own the strategy, creation, and distribution of high-impact content while fostering an engaged community of engineers, product leaders, and decision-makers. Your mission: establish SPREAD AI as the go-to resource for engineering intelligence and innovation.

    • Content strategy & storytelling:
      • Develop and execute comprehensive content strategies for LinkedIn and YouTube, aligned with SPREAD's business objectives.
      • Conduct thorough audience research and competitive analysis to identify content opportunities and trends.
      • Create and maintain a content calendar, ensuring consistent and timely content delivery.
      • Craft compelling and persuasive copy that resonates with our target audience, telling engaging stories that showcase SPREAD's expertise and value proposition.
    • Full-funnel content creation & cross-channel activation:
      • Write compelling and engaging copy for LinkedIn posts, articles, and video descriptions.
      • Create written content for LinkedIn articles, and posts, that drives engagement, and builds a community. Design and create visually appealing graphics and thumbnails for social media posts and videos.
      • Produce high-quality video content for YouTube, including tutorials, interviews, thought leadership pieces, and company updates. Shoot, edit, and produce video content, with a good eye for visual storytelling.
      • Execute content promotion strategies through social media, website, email marketing, partnerships, PR, and other syndication channels, ensuring that content reaches and resonates with our audiences.
      • Conduct keyword research, optimize content for search engines and LLMs, and drive initiatives to enhance organic traffic and visibility.
    • Platform expertise:
      • Demonstrate a deep understanding of LinkedIn and YouTube algorithms, best practices, and emerging trends.
      • Optimize content for search and discoverability on both platforms.
      • Utilize platform-specific tools and features to enhance content performance and engagement.
    • Social media management & community building:
      • Manage and grow SPREAD’s presence on LinkedIn, YouTube, and relevant industry forums, by fostering meaningful discussions and building a vibrant and engaged community.
      • Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and build relationships with influencers and industry leaders.
      • Drive founder- and internal subject expert-led content initiatives to amplify thought leadership and customer education.
      • Monitor social media analytics and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure content effectiveness and optimize strategies.
    • Optimize & experiment
      • Stay ahead of platform trends (e.g. LinkedIn & YouTube) and industry trends, identify and test new concepts to bring fresh ideas, adapt content formats and topics to maximize reach and engagement with our audiences.
      • Track and analyze content performance metrics (engagement, traffic, conversions) and iterate based on insights, using tools like GA4, LinkedIn Analytics, and SEO platforms (Ahrefs, SEMrush) to optimize content effectiveness.

    Your Experience

    • Proven experience in content marketing and social media management with an agency background, with strong skills in writing for thought leadership content and brand storytelling (ideally in B2B SaaS).

    • A strong portfolio showcasing copywriting and content distribution skills across LinkedIn, YouTube, and other channels.

    • Exceptional storytelling and writing skills—able to make complex topics compelling and easy to understand.

    • Proven ability to grow and engage online communities, ideally within a technical or engineering audience.

    • Solid understanding of SEO principles, content management systems (CMS), and social media platforms.

    • Strong video production skills, including shooting, editing, and producing high-quality video content.

    • Technical skills in image and video editing tools (e.g. Photoshop, Canva, Illustrator, CapCut).

    • Proficiency in social media analytics tools and platforms (LinkedIn Analytics, Google Analytics, HubSpot, etc.) to measure and optimize impact.

    • Creative mindset with a growth-driven approach to content creation and campaign ideation.

    • Excellent English and German language skills (native level) – verbal and written, and ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

    • Strong understanding of LinkedIn and YouTube algorithms, best practices, and audience engagement strategies, including social media copywriting and video scripting.

    • Don't be afraid of the camera: You're not only fit behind the camera, but also confident and authentic as a creator in front of the lens.

    • Ability to work independently while staying aligned with marketing goals and deadlines.
