As a Full-Stack Engineer on our Application Engineering team, you will play a vital role in improving user experiences by developing applications that make complex product data easier to access, understand, and utilize. You will dive deep into customer data, uncovering how various data points are interconnected to provide actionable insights and streamlined solutions. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will design and implement solutions that cater to our customers' specific needs, simplifying intricate engineering tasks and empowering informed decision-making.

Your Mission

• Design, implement, and maintain responsive, user-centric applications that deliver direct value to customers, making complex data more accessible and actionable.
• Engage deeply with customer data to understand the intricate connections and insights it holds, driving the development of features that reflect these insights.
• Work closely with cross-functional project teams to ensure solutions are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the highest quality standards.
• Build and maintain a robust network of connected data from various systems within our Engineering Intelligence Network, ensuring seamless integration and easy access to critical information.
• Continuously contribute to the development of SPREAD Studio, enabling users to create their own applications and solutions with minimal coding, thus enhancing their ability to solve domain-specific challenges.
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following SOLID principles. Ensure comprehensive documentation and test coverage through unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Stay updated with the latest technologies, industry trends, and best practices. Apply this knowledge to enhance your work and contribute to the continuous improvement of SPREAD’s products.
• Participate in roll-out projects that involve developing and implementing solutions tailored to specific customer processes. Engage directly with customers to understand their needs and deliver solutions that exceed their expectations.

Your Experience

• A formal degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics, Robotics, Automotive, Aerospace, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience or strong interest in the Automotive, Machinery, or Aerospace industries, with a deep understanding of the domain-specific language, processes, and challenges.

We prioritize candidates with experience in the Automotive, Machinery, or Aerospace industries. A strong understanding of our customers' challenges is key to success in this role, even if your software development experience is still growing!

• A strong desire to grow and develop in the field of SaaS development.
• Proficiency in software development, ideally in JavaScript or TypeScript. However, we also welcome candidates with experience in other programming languages such as Python, Golang, C#, or Java, provided they bring a willingness to learn and adapt to our tech stack.
• A commitment to delivering high-quality, user-centric applications that enhance the daily work of engineers and other users on the platform.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team.
• A proactive, positive mindset with a strong ability to work independently and solve complex engineering challenges.
