As a Senior DevOps Engineer at straiv, you will play a critical role in enabling efficient development workflows and ensuring reliable system performance. You will accompany software development team on their journey to the cloud by consulting and mentoring on the CI/CD processes and enabling them to cloud-native DevOps operating models ("you build it, you run it") with the lowest possible ops overhead and fast time-to-market.
Key Responsibilities
Streamline development and deployment: build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and automated software delivery.
Enhance system performance and health: monitor and optimize infrastructure performance and health holistically while ensuring scalability of our hotel tech platform.
Lead the migration of our systems from an on-premises environment to a cloud platform (eg. AWS), ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline workflows and foster a DevOps culture ("you build it, you run it").
Ensure security best practices are followed across infrastructure and applications.
Document processes, workflows, and configurations to ensure transparency and maintainability.
