Senior Food Quality Assurance Manager

Join our team at Sunday Natural and contribute to ensuring the highest quality standards for our products. As our Senior Quality Assurance Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our commitment to excellence and continuous improvement in product testing and quality control processes.

• Planning, executing and evaluating laboratory projects with external laboratory partners including organising samples, planning methods and analyses among others
• Tracing non-conformities and initiate improvement measures
• Providing technical support for raw material and supplier qualification and continuously improve process, documents and structures
• Developing and maintaining scientifically based risk assessment for food contaminants in various matrices
• Implementing and optimising Quality processes within the department as well as adjacent areas, such as Sourcing, Purchasing, Product Development as well as Production 
• Establishing and maintaining the knowledge structure on Risk Assessment within the company

• University degree in a relevant scientific discipline like food science and technology, chemistry, biology, or a related field
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in the food industry, preferably with supplements
• Previous experience in a quality assurance or laboratory coordination role within the food industry is preferred
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in data management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
• Knowledge of quality management and quality assurance and control systems, laboratory testing procedures and requirements applicable to the food industry
• Proficiency in using computer software and systems for data management, including Microsoft Office Suite and quality assurance software platforms
• Preferably experience with LIMS
• Strong proficiency in English, ideally combined with fluent German skills
