  • Our client, a global organization with over 2,000 employees worldwide, is seeking an Interim SAP LeanIX Architect/Consultant with expertise in Enterprise Architecture (EA) and portfolio management capabilities through LeanIX. The role involves configuring and optimizing the LeanIX APM module, ensuring high data quality, and fostering cross-functional collaboration to support a cohesive architecture management experience. The consultant will work closely with internal teams to align digital assets and the application portfolio with strategic business goals.

    Tasks

    Architecture Design and Integration:

    Design and improve an integrated architecture solution that aligns SAP and LeanIX frameworks with business objectives.

    • Ensure seamless data flow and interoperability between SAP and LeanIX environments.
    • Set up and configure LeanIX workspaces, including: Meta model and fact sheets, Business capability models and organization structures, Data preparation and setup for applications, data objects, and interfaces.

    Data Management & Quality Assurance:

    Ensure data accuracy and consistency in LeanIX through quality seals and adherence to data governance best practices.

    Governance and Documentation:

    • Develop architectural standards, guidelines, and governance frameworks to ensure consistent application usage and data integrity.
    • Maintain comprehensive documentation of architectural solutions, integration processes, and workflows.
    • Create customized reports and dashboards for business, application, and integration architecture.
    • Provide visibility into dependencies, redundancies, and opportunities to support data-driven decision-making for stakeholders.
    • Develop and maintain documentation, FAQs, and guides to ensure effective LeanIX usage and user confidence.

    Stakeholder Collaboration and Strategy Alignment:

    • Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements and align architecture with strategic objectives.
    • Act as a liaison between technical and business teams, fostering collaboration for a streamlined implementation.
    • Train and guide internal users on best practices for using LeanIX to facilitate APM adoption.

    Performance Optimization and Troubleshooting:

    • Identify and resolve performance issues within the SAP and LeanIX integration, ensuring optimal system functionality.
    • Proactively assess and improve architecture for scalability, performance, and cost-efficiency.

    Training and Knowledge Transfer:

    • Provide guidance and training to internal teams on best practices for utilizing SAP and LeanIX in alignment with architectural standards.
    • Support knowledge transfer to ensure that internal teams can maintain the architecture post-engagement.

    Requirements

    • Proven experience as an SAP LeanIX Architect.
    • Extensive knowledge of SAP modules, LeanIX workflows, and enterprise architecture best practices.
    • 3+ years of hands-on experience with LeanIX, including setup and management for enterprise architecture.
    • Ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on enterprise IT landscapes.
    • Excellent communication skills, with experience presenting technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
    • Strong organizational abilities, with experience managing multiple projects and stakeholders.
    • Excellent written and verbal skills; capable of explaining complex information to non-technical stakeholders.
    • Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
    • Exceptional analytical and conceptual skills.
    • Effective communication and presentation abilities.
    • Fluency in English, German is a plus.
    • Team-oriented with leadership capabilities.
