Tasks
We are seeking a qualified SAP PLM & ECTR Specialist, who will be significantly involved in the development and optimization of the technological landscape
Responsibilities:
SAP ECTR Customization and Development:
- Develop and customize SAP ECTR solutions to support PLM and engineering processes.
- Work with SAP ECTR APIs to enable seamless integration between CAD systems and SAP.
- Configure and manage output management systems for document control and distribution within SAP.
PLM and Document Control:
- Design and implement PLM workflows to streamline product data management and lifecycle processes.
- Optimize document control processes for storing, retrieving, and distributing design and engineering documents from SAP.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards for document handling and version control.
CAD Systems Integration and Development:
- Develop and maintain integrations between SAP and CAD tools such as Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD Mechanical.
- Use VB.NET to customize CAD tools and automate workflows.
- Ensure compatibility between CAD software outputs and SAP ECTR requirements.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate with engineering, IT, and operations teams to understand business requirements and deliver effective technical solutions.
- Provide training and support to end-users to maximize the efficiency of SAP PLM and ECTR systems.
System Optimization and Troubleshooting:
- Identify and resolve technical issues related to SAP ECTR, PLM workflows, and CAD integrations.
- Continuously assess and improve system performance to meet evolving business needs
- Management, administration, and development of the CAD application Autodesk Inventor & AutoCAD Mechanical, as well as the associated IT infrastructure.
- Development and implementation of automation solutions and workflows to increase efficiency.
- Coordination and execution of software updates, upgrades, and migration projects.
- Collaboration with departments to understand and implement requirements for CAD tools and processes.
- Monitoring system performance and security, as well as troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
Requirements
- Proven experience in SAP ECTR and PLM development and integration.
- Strong programming experience with VB.NET for CAD tool customization (Inventor, AutoCAD Mechanical).
- Experience working with SAP ECTR APIs for integration and customization.
- Hands-on experience with output management and document control within SAP.
- Strong understanding of PLM workflows and engineering data management.
- Proficiency in integrating and automating CAD tools with SAP systems.
- Expertise in SAP ECTR configuration and customization.
- Knowledge of API development and integration for seamless system interoperability.
- Familiarity with version control, document management best practices, and industry standards.
- Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively.
- Certification in SAP PLM or ECTR is a plus.
- Knowledge of other SAP modules (e.g., MM, PP, QM) is advantageous.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus.
- Ability to think in a networked manner and grasp concepts quickly.
