Security Operations Analyst (f/m/d)

Using our modern blockchain API, we enable our customers to easily and securely integrate blockchain functionalities into their systems. This white-label solution saves high development costs and time, enabling fast market access and easy usability for end users. Regulatory requirements can be covered for appropriate assets via Tangany's crypto custody license if required.

For our continued growth, we are looking for a Security Operations Analyst (f/m/d) to join our team. As a Security Operations Analyst you will be responsible for ensuring of our organization´s cloud infrastructure and services. You will work closely with our IT team, developers, and management to implement and maintain effective security controls, monitor for potential vulnerabilities, and respond to security incidents in a timely manner. Your role will be crucial in safeguarding sensitive data, applications, and systems hosted on Tangany´s cloud platform.

Tasks

• Monitor services running in Microsoft Azure cloud environment for security breaches and investigate any incidents promptly.
• Rapidly remediating active attacks in the environment.
• Develop and implement incident response procedures to minimize the impact of security breaches.
• Perform threat hunting and cyber threat intelligence analysis.
• Advising on improvements to threat protection practices.
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on cloud systems.
• Work with development teams to remediate vulnerabilities and improve overall security posture.
• Implement and maintain security tools for monitoring, logging, and alerting in cloud environments (e.g. SIEM, IDS/IPS, DLP).
• Develop scripts and automation workflows to streamline security operations and incident response.
• Develop and enforce cloud security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Conduct security audits and assessments to ensure adherence to policies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor´s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Security Operations Analyst or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud security services (Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Microsoft Entra ID, etc.).
• Familiarity with security frameworks (e.g. GDPR, ISO 27001) and compliance requirements.
• Hands-on experience with security tools such as SIEM, DLP, IDS/IPS.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
