Position/Main Responsibilities:
As a Data Engineering Team Lead, you will:
- Lead Data Engineers and collaborate closely with Software Development Engineers (SDEs), Analytics Engineers (AEs), and Infrastructure Engineers (IEs).
- Build a modular, flexible data engineering infrastructure for continuous iterative improvements.
- Serve customers including eCommerce, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, Investment, and Legal departments.
- Develop data products to support every aspect of the business.
- Design and build data models and infrastructure in collaboration with Analytics and Infrastructure Engineering.
- Engage in hands-on development of data engineering components using innovative tools.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Lead and provide technical guidance to the Data Engineering team.
- Collaborate with various engineering teams within the technology department.
- Focus on continuous improvement of the data engineering infrastructure.
- Understand data as a strategic resource and build data products accordingly.
- Design and develop data models and infrastructure.
- Conduct hands-on development in data engineering.
