As a Junior Data Scientist (f/d/m) at Temedica, you'll have the chance to refine your data skills by diving into complex and diverse datasets. Your Role with us

• You focus on the early data exploration phases with advanced data analysis methods (ML and LLM) to analyse diverse data sources (e.g., social media, prescriptions, sales, claims) with state of the art tools (GCP, BigQuery, Python, dbt, Git) and techniques focusing on predictive and prescriptive analysis.
• You work with a cross functional product team to explore new data opportunities, improve the value of our data solutions, and analyse new potential data sources with regard to feasibility in Temedica's current products.
• You develop informative and visually appealing visualizations to present key findings and gather additional insights and feedback on the data.
• You provide high level requirement- and implementation guidance to the data engineering team, as well as occasional software- or data engineering contribution.

What you bring to the table

• You have a University Degree (PhD or M.Sc.) in a Quantitative Field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Neuroscience or similar; and have experience in exploring data sources and answering complex questions with model-driven statistical analysis and machine learning methods.
• You have already worked, academically or professionally, on biology-, Pharma- or medical-related projects.
• You are familiar with Python (Pandas, NumPy, Sci-kit learn) and ideally are no stranger to technologies like SQL, Git, dbt or Looker.
• You are fluent in German and English.
