Lead Data Scientist

 cognee is an open-source software (OSS) framework that processes, stores and generates semantic layers above vector and graph stores (GraphRAGs). We aim to automate data storage, enrichment and personalization for LLM in-context learning. We are looking for a Lead Data Scientist.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement advanced machine learning models for Cognee.
• Oversee the machine learning lifecycle from data collection to deployment.
• Collaborate with engineers and product managers to integrate solutions.
• Adopt MLOps best practices for efficient and scalable model deployment.
• Stay updated with advancements in machine learning and data science.
• Develop and maintain documentation and engage with the open-source community.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field; Ph.D. preferred.
• Proven experience as a Lead Data Scientist with a strong project track record.
• Expertise in MLOps and tools like Docker, Kubernetes, TensorFlow Extended (TFX), and MLflow.
• Proficiency in Python and machine learning libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
• Experience in deploying machine learning models in production.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
