  • Our partner, a well-known German online platform, is looking for a Senior QA engineer (m/f/d). This is a full-time position in the Düsseldorf metropolitan area, Germany (Hybrid work environment).

    Tasks

    What You’ll Do

    • Review, design, and improve test cases to ensure both existing and new requirements are testable in a sustainable environment
    • Contribute to the design and refinement of project requirements
    • Collaborate closely with product teams, developers, and subject matter experts to deliver high-quality solutions
    • Manage defects and identify, monitor, and resolve potential issues, working hand in hand with developers and implementation partners
    • Guide and advise the team to foster continuous improvement in QA practices
    • Participate in the planning and execution of central SIT and UAT testing phases
    • Work alongside the Centres of Excellence (CoE) for Quality Assurance and Testing to enhance and adapt testing infrastructure and environments
    • Automate existing test cases to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency

    Requirements

    What You’ll Need

    • Practical experience as a test engineer, tester, test lead, defect coordinator, or a similar role, ideally within an agile framework
    • Familiarity with agile testing approaches and established testing standards (e.g., ISTQB)
    • An agile mindset with the ability to influence and communicate effectively
    • Excellent skills in delivering presentations, facilitating discussions, and conveying ideas
    • A strong interest in creating long-term, sustainable solutions
    • Proficiency in English (at least C1)
