Linux Operating System Specialist

Ubitium aims to become the ubiquitous computing element – everywhere! As we work on developing our new programming platform and development boards, we are looking for a Linux Operating System Specialist who will work on the following:

Tasks

• Bringing up Linux on a new processor architecture, incl. but not limited to:

• Modify device drivers

• Modify interrupt service routine

• Cross-specifying OS and processor architecture together with Processor Architects and severely modifying Linux routines, incl. but not limited to:

• MMU address translation

• Task and Thread switching and handling

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, equivalent or higher
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in relevant field
• Experience with RISC-V beneficial
• Deep understanding in Linux kernel internals and architecture
• Experience with bootloaders (configuration and porting)
• Experience with embedded Linux systems
• Experience creating and modifying BSPs
• Strong debugging skills (hardware-software interaction)
• Strong communication skills
• Strong problem-solving skills
