  • As a Senior Brand Manager (m/f/d) at Upfield you will be part of shaping the future of food and driving our iconic brands and fast-growing plant-based champions to act as pioneers in the high-paced food industry and in one of its key markets: DACH/IT.

    About the position 

    As a Senior Brand Manager (m/f/d), you will join a collaborative and fast-paced team that is driving the growth of our brands in a highly competitive market environment.  

    Main responsibilities: 

    • Own the performance of your brand(s) – accountable for the P&L, marketing budget and for translating ideas into actions;
    • Develop and lead your brand(s) strategy, innovation and renovation pipeline and drive its implementation across the business;
    • Build on category, customer and local insights to build and lead the implementation and steering of local growth plans;
    • Leading and landing brilliant local execution in a 360° approach driving our brand awareness via owned and earned channels;
    • Analyze brand performance and translate learnings into recommendation for action (using tools such as Nielsen, GfK, Kantar, product tasting & testing);
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities; conduct testing to gather insights on our target audience, consumer behavior and market trends;
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, foodservice, R&D and supply chain to drive and ensure alignment on brand execution. 

    This role is an exciting opportunity to continue building and shaping innovative and iconic brand(s), especially with a focus on brand building, shaping the portfolio and driving in-store sales. By working in a collaborative, hands-on-deck team, you will be able to bring a lot of new and creative ideas to the table and bring these to life. 

    So, what does it take to be successful in this role?

    • Min. 5-7 years of experience working in brand/trade marketing, category management or product management;
    • You are a strong strategic thinker and can easily translate data / analytics into an actionable plan;
    • With a self-starter and hands-on mentality, you are naturally taking initiative and ownership;
    • You have a creative mindset, with a passion for innovation, problem solving and brand building;
    • MS Office proficiency, especially PowerPoint and Excel 
    • We operate in a global environment so fluency in both German and English is required.
