Japan Operations Intern

Join us at Ventura TRAVEL – a group of specialized travel brands that unleash the adventurer in every person! As an inter to out Japan Operations team, you will help to ensure smooth operations by providing outstanding quality service and delivering prompt and accurate answers to stakeholders.

You will work alongside our Tour Operations Specialists and learn basics about operations in tourism. As a fellow travel enthusiast with true passion for Japan, you will help us deliver life-changing experience through travel, by supporting our Specialists in reservations and payment management, as well as research for great new partners! Our team is spread across differnt cities, and your working language will be English - the job can be performed from any city in Germany, as it is fully remote!

NOTE: Please keep in mind, we'll only consider applications written in English.

 On daily basis you will

• Support the Tour Operations Specialists in general reservations and payments management
• Check invoices, prepayments and expenses.
• Create documents to send suppliers
• Research for new experiences and suppliers in Japan
• Help up improve operations processes
• Work on your own projects as per aptitude and interest (after approx. 3 months)

The basics you bring along

• Proficiency in Japanese and English, including a true passion for Japan
• Availability for an internship for at least 6 months, as part of your university studies.
• You have an incredible eye for details and passion for accuracy.
• You set high standards of quality and follows through.
• You have strong communication and interpersonal skills and are fun to be around: your future colleagues will enjoy working with you.
• You are tech-savvy, comfortable with and curious about new technologies.
• Openness for feedback, eagerness to learn, improve and grow.
• And last but not least: you bring a positive attitude, and you remain calm under stress.

You can impress us even more with

• Good knowledge of German or French.
• Prior experience in Japan and region.
  
• Prior operational experience in the tourism industry.
